This keynote examines AI as an artistic medium, exploring this idea that its creative potential emerges when artists gain technical mastery, yet never so much that the unknown is exhausted. Showcasing works that embrace AI’s materiality, it also traces how technological innovation clashes with artistic practice, exposing an imbalance of power between the two.
